Cuzco and Friends
While we were in Cuzco they were having a really huge Catholic Festival,
Corpus Christi.
Every day there were parades with these saints' effigies and music.
One of the local hotties
Groups of young boys would have fights by picking up these table frames
and ramming them into each other.
The dude standing up looks a lot like my father!
This was our central meeting spot. Joe had many beers here.

These guys helped us out a lot in Cuzco!
Another young boy custom during the festival is to wear one of these
masks,
then run through a group of other kids who whip you with ropes...
.. .Isn't Catholicism wonderful?
